Welcome to Bridgend Campsite, a quiet retreat on the west coast of Arran. We’ve kept our site small and simple, ensuring that when you come here to "get away from it all," you actually have the breathing room to enjoy it.
Travel Notice:
The String (B880) reopened on the 1st of May, Google maps has still to catch up.
Stagecoach 322 is also running as normal and will get you here in under half an hour.
From the jagged granite peaks of the north to the ancient standing stones of Machrie Moor, you are staying in a landscape 600 million years in the making.
- Proper Pitches: Our main pitches are generously sized and thoughtfully spaced, giving you plenty of privacy and peace for your tent, van, or motorhome.
- West Coast Sunsets: With our west-facing position, we have some of the best seats on the island for watching the sun dip into the horizon —the perfect end to an active day.
- Real Island Hospitality: We take real pride in our site and our home. We’re here to ensure you have a clean, comfortable, and truly memorable stay.
- The Vibe: Relaxed, picturesque, and authentically Scottish.
- The Best Part: We’re a short drive from everything Arran has to offer, but far enough away to feel like a true escape.
