Terms and Conditions

A 50% deposit is required to secure every booking.

The remaining balance is due 21 days before arrival and will be taken automatically from the card used to make the booking, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with us in advance.

Bookings made within 21 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.

A booking is secured by payment of the required deposit. Full payment must be received before arrival, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with us in advance.

All charges must be paid before departure. Where manual chasing is required for an outstanding payment after departure, a £20 administration charge may be added.

Electric hook-up charges include an electricity allowance based on current electricity costs. This helps us keep prices fair for everyone. Heavy electricity use will be charged separately.

We strongly recommend that guests arrange suitable travel insurance. All cancellation or date-change requests must be made by email.

For any 2027 bookings made before we open the gates on 15 March, we are happy to offer a little extra flexibility. If your plans change before then, you can move your stay to another date in the 2027 season, subject to availability. This pre-season date-change option is in addition to the cancellation options below.

The full cost of a one-night stay is non-refundable from the time of booking. Our normal payment schedule still applies: 50% is paid at booking and the remaining 50% is due 21 days before arrival.

One-night stays cannot be moved to alternative dates or exchanged for a credit voucher.

You may choose one of the following:

• Cancel your booking and receive a refund of all money paid, less a cancellation charge equal to the total cost of the first night of your booking;
• Move your booking to alternative dates within the 2027 season, subject to availability; or
• Receive a credit voucher for all money paid, valid until the end of the 2027 season.

No refund is offered.

If a booking is amended to new dates, it cannot be moved again or later exchanged for a credit voucher. If you are unsure of your new dates, we recommend choosing a credit voucher instead. If a booking is moved, the cancellation policy will continue to be based on the original arrival date.

No refund, credit voucher or date transfer is offered.

If you do not arrive on your scheduled arrival date and have not contacted us, your booking will be treated as a no-show and cancelled in full. No refund, credit voucher or date transfer will be offered.

If we need to close the campsite, or cannot provide your booked stay because of severe weather, a safety issue, utility failure or another circumstance outside our reasonable control, we will provide a full refund.

Where possible, we will also help you find alternative local accommodation. We cannot accept responsibility for additional costs such as ferry, travel or alternative accommodation.

If you are bringing a vehicle to Arran, we recommend checking and booking your CalMac ferry before confirming your campsite stay. Vehicle space can be limited, particularly during busy periods.

Ferry services are operated independently of Bridgend Campsite. Ferry cancellations, delays, missed sailings and booking issues are outside our control, so our normal cancellation policy applies.

Tent options are for traditional tents only. Where parking is booked, it is for one standard car only. They are not suitable for campervans, motorhomes, vans, caravans or roof tents. Sleeping in a vehicle on a tent booking is not permitted.

If you are arriving with a campervan, motorhome, van, caravan or roof tent, please book the appropriate hardstanding pitch. Hardstanding pitches are for these vehicle types and are not available for traditional tents.

Maximum vehicle length is 8.5 metres. Maximum tent size is 24 square metres. Please enter your exact unit dimensions in the Special Requests box when booking.

Guests arriving with a different unit or vehicle from that booked may be turned away without refund.

Please tell us about all members of your party, including anyone making a separate booking and intending to meet you onsite. Undeclared groups may be refused entry or asked to leave.

We will always try to honour the pitch number selected at booking, but this cannot be guaranteed, particularly for short stays or where operational requirements make a move necessary.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask a guest to leave where we reasonably consider this necessary. This may include concerns arising from communications, behaviour or booking information before arrival.

Where a guest is required to leave because of a serious breach of these Terms and Conditions or Campsite Rules, they will not automatically be entitled to a refund for any unused part of their stay.
